Privacy Policy

FINGOMY (Android app, package com.pinjamanwang.fingomyloan) · Effective date: 4 October 2026

This policy explains what information the FINGOMY app ("the app") handles and why. It is published by the developer of the app on Google Play ("we", "us").

Loan applications and applicant data. FINGOMY is a loan cost simulator, a set of calculators and a reading guide. It does not accept or forward loan applications, does not collect applicant data of any kind, and does not lend, broker or arrange loans. It does not access your contacts, SMS messages, call log, photos, media files or precise location, and it requests no runtime permission to do so.

The short version

The app has no account, no login and no server that stores your information. Numbers you type into the calculators, checklist ticks and your theme choice stay on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. The only data collection comes from advertising: the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, and Google's ads software collects the data described in section 3.

1. Information we do not collect

Name, email address, phone number, postal address or MyKad / IC number
Income, employer, bank account, card or any other financial account details
Passwords, PINs, TAC or one-time passwords
Contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photos, videos, files or documents
Precise (GPS) location
Anything typed into the calculators — those values never leave your device

The app declares a single permission of its own: internet access, used to load a small advertising configuration file and to show ads.

2. Information stored only on your device

This information is never uploaded or shared by us. You can clear checklist progress in the app, and remove everything by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and is funded by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them, limit repetition and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google:

Device or other IDs — the Android advertising ID and similar device identifiers
Approximate location — estimated from your IP address (country or region level)
App interactions — ad impressions and taps
Diagnostics — information about how ads load and perform on your device

This data is collected by Google, not stored by us. It is sent over encrypted connections. Google's use of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Where the law requires it, a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform appears before any ad is requested. You can review or change your choice later in the app under Settings → Privacy choices (shown in regions where this applies).
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device).
An optional rewarded ad in Settings lets you browse without ads for a set time. Watching it is always your choice.

4. Network requests made by the app

Advertising configuration — a small JSON file fetched over HTTPS from our server so ad formats can be switched on or off without an update. The request carries no information about you beyond what any web request carries (such as your IP address), and we do not log it against any identity.
Ad serving — requests made by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, described above.

All traffic uses HTTPS; unencrypted traffic is disabled in the app.

5. Children

The app is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Retention and deletion

We hold no personal data on any server, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Data on your device is removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. For advertising data held by Google, use Google's controls linked above.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 — you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. Because the app keeps no personal data about you on any server, these rights are met through the on-device controls above; if you believe we hold something about you, contact us and we will reply.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
